Darko was a very friendly and helpful host who prepared some food, provided welcome snacks, gifts, and much information about Split. The apartment was spacious, spotless, well equipped with a kitchen, kitchenette, washing machine and had a great shower. A private garden with a patio and table to eat outdoors was available for relaxing. Free safe parking was right in front of the building, a small supermarket and bakery were within 3-5 minutes walk. The location was quiet on a hill by the park yet only 5-10 minutes walking distance to the waterfront, Old Town center and public beaches.
